Winooski Rec. Presents “Telling Our Stories”

The Winooski Recreation and Parks Department is hosting a new class, “Telling Our Stories,” instructed by Peter Burns – a storytelling expert with 30 years of experience and a Winooski resident!

Telling our own story, in our own words, can be a powerful way to come to grips with difficult memories, clarify issues and share our past. This class will help you connect with the stories you really need to tell and show you the most effective way of telling them. Learning simple storytelling techniques will make performing less stressful and increase your confidence. This is a class for beginners who would like to start telling their story to others. There will be an informal performance on the final day of the 5-week class.
