Planning and Zoning Manager

The Planning and Zoning Manager serves as the Zoning Administrator and oversees Master Planning efforts in the City of Winooski.  The Zoning Administrator is responsible for the administration and enforcement of zoning and other bylaws adopted under the Vermont Municipal and Regional Planning and Development Act (24 V.S.A. Chapter 117) and the Winooski Unified Land Use and Development Regulations including the Form Based Code.  This position leads Master Planning efforts in the City including working closely with the Community and Economic Development Officer, the City Manager, the Leadership Team, the City’s Planning Commission, and other Commissions to develop and promote the City’s Master Plan, implement the Plan, and update zoning and other municipal policies to support the plan goals.

Posting Period: April 2, 2018 to April 27, 2018

Salary Range: $58,200 – $65,000 (DOE)
